Who Is Funding My Campaign?

The number one question I get asked right now is: 'Who is funding your campaign? Are you taking money from AIPAC?' Here is the documented truth: No. I am not taking a single dime from AIPAC. In fact, I don't take money from any PACs.

PACs (Political Action Committees) are essentially how dark money buys off Congress. It’s a pay-to-play system. I've spent 13 years in HR and Compliance, and I can tell you our election system is fundamentally broken. We need to ban all PACs, ban paid lobbyists, and move to publicly funded elections. We need a system where the best policies win, not just the ultra-wealthy or candidates backed by the political machine.

So, who is funding me? I only accept individual donations. Honestly, my biggest donor is me. I’ve funded the vast majority of this campaign using my own savings and cutting down my personal expenses. The rest comes from everyday people: family, voters I’ve met, and folks from the Chicago comedy community.

You can double check if you look at my campaign financials, link below.

I also disclosed my personal financial disclosures. You will see that I own zero individual stocks. I only hold mutual and index funds, like the S&P 500. Members of Congress shouldn't be trading individual stocks while making laws that affect those companies.

I’m bought by no one, which means my only loyalty is to District 7.
